How Do You Print On Aluminum?

Aluprint™ Makes A Lasting Impression

LMC is proud to offer Aluprint, a new technique that produces screen-printed effects on anodized aluminum. Aluprint is a specially formulated printing ink, containing dyestuffs that are impregnated directly into the surface of anodized aluminum. LMC combines the physical properties of anodized aluminum with the Aluprint Printing Pastes to produce anything from simple one-color printed labels to intricate, multi-colored nameplates and logos. The color and detail produced by this process is:

* Abrasion resistant - no chipping or marring
* Wear resistant - no fading or rusting
* Light fast
* Surface color compatible

Aluprint Is Better Than Old Methods
While pad printing and silk screening lays on the surface on the anodized part, Aluprint dye is impregnated into the metal as part of the anodization process. Aluprint is more durable and aesthetically appealing than pad and screen-printing and will not alter any surface dimension either. And, Aluprint delivers a full spectrum of colors that plain laser etching can't match.
